My name is Namrata Roy. I am a graduate student in the Department of Astronomy and Astrophysics at University Of California Santa Cruz (UCSC).

I am working with Prof. Kevin Bundy on Galaxy evolution, their connection with Supermassive Black Holes and AGN feedback. I am a part of Sloan digital Sky Survey (SDSS)-IV MaNGA collaboration. I am currently working on a new class of galaxies discovered by the MaNGA survey, known as the “Red Geysers”. For more details, please check out my Research page.
